The main factors affecting the temperature measurement of the infrared thermometer:
Factors of the tested substance itself:
(1) Material materials (2) Surface characteristics; surface quality (bright, rough, oxidized, sandblasted), geometry (flat, concave, convex)
Field factors for temperature measurement by thermometer:
(1). Whether the measurement angle is within the allowable range;
(2). Is it aimed correctly?
(3). Whether the selected spectral range (wavelength) is suitable. For measuring targets in containers with glass windows, the spectral range cannot be selected from 8 to 14 μm, but should be selected around 1 μm;
(4). With or without window glass, the window glass attenuates the infrared energy, so the monochromatic temperature measurement value is low (can be corrected by adjusting the emissivity value); while the contrast color temperature measurement value has basically no effect;
(5). Smoke, water vapor, dust;
(6). Whether the emissivity is set correctly;
